Green Team

The Green Team is a group of church members who meet once or twice a month to discuss various topics concerning the environment. The committee was formed for individuals interested in taking better care of our planet. Its goal is to promote environmental stewardship, educate its members on eco-friendly practices, and foster a better understanding of how our actions affect the world around us.

Each month the Green Team will display a topic on the bulletin board in the back hall. This month's topic is lighting.

The Green Team will meet on Thursday, December 11th at 5:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. We will be discussing our January theme.

Watch the green sheet for future meetings.

Decorative Light Strings

If all decorative light strings sold in America this year were ENERGY STAR qualified we would save over 2 billion kWh per year and reduce greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to nearly 300,000 cars!

ENERGY STAR qualified decorative light strings - many which feature LED technology - consume 75% less energy than conventional incandescent light strands.
